CANADIAN WORKING HOLIDAY VISA

For the candidate who wants to go somewhere different, the land of the Maple Leaf and Moose is open for you to take your Working Holiday.

Stay in awesome cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, working part-time while you travel this big country. There are limited visas available so its definitely a unique experience.

STA Travel can also assist in finding you a job and setting you up with a bank account.

DURATION: 12 months

SEASON: Throughout the year

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS: This is for any student or graduate (from accredited university but not UNISA).

APPLICATION PROCESS: You will need to register, provide a bank statement with a minimum of $1000, have a police clearance, a motivation letter and be approved by the consulate (including medical)

COST OF PROGRAMME: from R750 registration fee, R3950 programme fee and a R1200 medical test by a Canadian approved doctor

EXPECTED EARNINGS: From $7 per hour – depending on what job you do

COST OF LIVING: You will need to cover all your costs but will get assistance in finding accommodation

FLIGHT SUBSIDY: No

FRIENDS TRAVEL TOGETHER: Yes

TRAVEL AFTER WORK: No

WILL I BE MET ON ARRIVAL: You can apply for an orientation package which will set you up with a bank account, job listing etc.
